Leadership and service characterize Jack’s
background.   He graduated from the U.S. Military
Academy at West Point.  Jack returned to West Point
later to teach leadership, psychology, and quantitative
research methods.

As a commander of infantry units and an
Airborne/Ranger serving on three continents, Jack
distinguished himself by receiving or being awarded
three Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star, and the Combat
Infantryman’s Badge.  He regularly presented to
members of the executive branch at the White House,
representatives of the intelligence community, and
foreign dignitaries.  He retired from the Army in 1997.  

Jack holds a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from
Columbia University.  A gifted communicator, he
frequently speaks, has had articles published in
national trade journals, and is often quoted in the press.

He has been listed in The Marquis Who’s Who of
America (2007).
